| Seto Ware [kohiki stripe] A series of flat plates featuring striking stripe patterns drawn with a soft touch. Available in two colors—dark brown and blue—they subtly complement your dishes. The clean, oval shape makes it easy to plate food, and these versatile pieces are perfect for everything from main courses to serving plates. [Precautions] Handling Ceramic Ware Fine hairline cracks known as “kannyu” may appear on the glaze surface. This occurs naturally during the cooling process after firing due to differences in thermal expansion* and contraction between the clay body and the glaze, and does not constitute a defect. If the piece has craquelure, it will absorb water readily at first, so using dark-colored liquids such as sauce is likely to cause staining within the cracks. When using the piece for the first time, please take care—for example, by soaking it in water for a few minutes. We hope you will also enjoy the changes in its appearance as it ages. 【注意事項】陶器のお取り扱いについて
「貫入（かんにゅう）」という釉薬表面の細かなひび模様が現れることがあります。これは素材（素地）と釉薬の熱膨張・収縮差により、焼成後の冷却過程で自然発生するもので、不良品ではござません。貫入が入っている場合、使用当初は水をよく吸う状態ですので、ソースのような色の濃いものを使用すると、貫入に染みが入る可能性が高いです。初めてお使いになる時は、数分水に浸しておくなど、使用方法にご注意ください。経年による風合いの変化もお楽しみいただけると幸いです。

①色ムラ---釉薬の性質や焼成度合によって、画像と比べ濃淡に差が生じることがあります。また、焦げや釉薬の垂れが生じることがあります。
②貫入 ---焼成後、釉薬表層上の小さなヒビが生じることがあります。意図的にデザインしたものであり、不良ではありません。
③黒点 ---鉄粉により表層上に黒点が現れることがあります。
④ピンホール---釉薬や土の性質上、ミリ単位の小さな穴がみられる事があります。
