Description
| This ink is inspired by the boundary between the winter sky and Suruga Bay. Suruga Bay in winter is described in the *Man’yōshū* with the following verse: “From Tagino-ura, looking out, I see the snow has fallen on the endless high peaks, turning them pure white.” [Shizuoka Ink] These inks are named after Shizuoka’s place names, local specialties, and history. This is Kobayashi’s most popular ink series, allowing you to discover a side of Shizuoka you never knew through the ink, as if you were traveling through the prefecture. |
