| Shinzan Kiln Yamatsu: Spring Flowers—White-Raised Teacup “Omotaka” The patterns on the white-raised copperplate paper stand out with a lustrous sheen, creating a beautiful contrast with the fired surface of the white porcelain bisque in this series. The teacup, with its sleek, upright silhouette, is pure white yet elegant. The gold crystals around the rim enhance its appeal. Featuring the slightly raised patterns of “Shiramori Copperplate” and the beauty of the copperplate paper designs that emit a subtle glow, this teaware series evokes the feeling of a spring breeze and is perfect for everyday use. Featuring flowers and plants that evoke the feeling of a spring stroll— violets, chive blossoms, and the three-leafed omadaka— this auspicious design features repeating geometric patterns arranged in the same direction, reminiscent of traditional komon patterns. *The surface (patterned area) is unglazed bisque, and while the patterned area is smooth, it has a slightly rough texture.
