Yanagi shibori is a dyeing technique in which dye is poured onto bundles of crumpled washi paper. While the flow and layering of the dye are carefully planned, the unique patterns created by the bleeding of the color when the paper is unfolded are different for each sheet. It is characterized by a soft, delicate impression, much like a painting by Monet. Willow-shibori-dyed washi paper is extremely thin and so light that even the slightest breeze causes it to flutter gently. Its delicate texture leaves a gentle impression on the heart of anyone who holds it. Please use it to add a touch of color to your messages by gently enclosing it with your handwritten notes. For our stationery, we use Japanese paper specifically designed for writing, which allows pens to glide smoothly and pairs well with fountain pen ink.
