| *What is [Lavender Amethyst]? It is known as [Lavender Amethyst], [the Guardian Stone of Love], [the Stone That Protects True Love], and [the Birthstone for February]. It is said to bestow the power to protect true love; beyond romance, it also provides healing and peace of mind while boosting inspiration. Its name comes from Amethyst, a young girl who appears in Greek mythology. The girl was a servant of the goddess of the moon, but one day, by unfortunate chance, Bacchus, the god of wine, in his drunken rage, set a ferocious beast upon her. Just as Amethyst was about to be attacked by the wild beasts, at the last possible moment, the goddess of the moon transformed the girl into a crystal. 少女は月の女神の仕官でしたが、ある時運悪く、酒の神バッカスが、酒に酔った勢いで猛獣をけしかけます。
アメジストが今にも猛獣に襲われるその時、危機一髪、月の女神が少女をクリスタルに変えました。
酔いからさめたバッカスは、自身の罪を反省し、少女が変化したクリスタルに葡萄酒を注ぎました。
するとクリスタルはみるみるうちに美しい紫色に変化し、これがアメジストになったとされています。
