Although this product is glazed with a glaze that is resistant to water absorption, we recommend sealing the surface to ensure long-lasting use. Regarding glaze drips, since these items are produced by hand using traditional methods rather than machines, there may be individual variations in how the glaze is applied (and how it flows).
To achieve a distinctive texture, we use a highly concentrated glaze; however, due to kiln variations that occur during firing, there may be individual variations in color intensity. Products with glaze may exhibit small indentations that look like pinpricks. Because these items are handmade using natural materials (clay), there may be slight variations in size and weight from piece to piece. Since the clay contains a high amount of iron, traces of iron may appear on the surface. |
