| Following the 1976 release of *Dinosaur Expedition: Born Free*, *Dinosaur Great War: Eisenborg* was produced the following year as the second installment in the series. It is a unique work that combines the special effects—featuring costumed dinosaurs and giant heroes—developed in the *Ultraman* series with cel-animated characters. The third installment in the series, *Dinosaur Sentai Koseidon*, is a live-action hero action film set in the Cretaceous Period. Among fans, these films are known as the Tsuburaya Dinosaur Trilogy, beginning with *Bone Free*, and they continue to garner enthusiastic support from core tokusatsu fans to this day. To commemorate the 50th anniversary of the series’ debut, we’ve selected *Eisenborg* and *Koseidon* from the Dinosaur Trilogy.
