Description
| *What is [Towada Stone (TOWADA STONE)]? It has garnered attention since modern times as a stone that emits negative ions. It has excellent thermal emissivity and emits far-infrared rays when heated. It absorbs moisture well, and its color changes depending on how much moisture it holds. It is soft and easy to work with, yet surprisingly durable. In Akita Prefecture, there is a legend that Hachirōtarō, a Matagi (hunter), transformed into a dragon and took up residence in Lake Towada. In addition, stories such as that of the white mouse—an incarnation of the gods—remain. Even today, Towada, nurtured by nature, is home to many such mysterious legends, which are believed to stem from the mystical energy present in this land. *What is a [Magatama]? Magatama have existed for over 2,000 years and are believed to ward off disasters and bad luck. They help cut off bad luck and make it easier to attract good fortune.
