Description
| Makoto Azuma and Shunsuke Shiiki, who observe the rapidly changing flower market from a fixed point, express the life and death of flowers like the blink of an eye, created by human desire, with their exceptional observational skills, and record them in their works. This exhibition consists of seven chapters, the largest number in the series. This work, with its increased narrative nature, further embodies ENCYCLOPEDIA (the cycle of life and death) and draws the viewer in with its overwhelming development. With not only the inside of the studio, but also the earth as a borrowed landscape, one cannot take one's eyes off of "Botanical Illustrated Book," which is developing into a large project without stopping. |

目まぐるしく変わる花市場を定点観測し、人間の欲望が生み出す、まばたきのような花々の生と死を類まれな観察眼で表現し、記録として繋ぎとめる東信と椎木俊介。
今回はシリーズでも最多の7つのチャプターにより構成される。
物語性を増す本作は、ENCYCLOPEDIA（生と死の循環）をより体現し、圧倒的な展開で見るものを引き込む。
アトリエの中だけでなく、地球をも借景とする、とどまることなく大きなプロジェクトへと発展していく『植物図鑑』から目が離せない。
