The most difficult part was the product image. We spent a lot of time creating illustrations that would be popular with a wide range of customers, from the elderly to the young. ■『ブックぶっくろ』の特徴
・ぽち袋のように本を入れるだけで楽しくプレゼントすることができます。
・本の売り場にイロドリを加え、「本を贈りたい」という気持ちを生み出すことができます。
・付属のしおりにメッセージを記入することができ、贈り手の想いや本にまつわるエピソードなどを伝えることができます。
・家族や友達に本を読む楽しい時間を贈ることができます。
・窓から本の一部が見えることによって、読書意欲を盛りたてます。
■『ブックぶっくろ』の商品開発について
ぽち袋に入れてお年玉や心づけなどを気軽に渡すという日本独自の素敵な文化に着目し、本をもっと読んでもらいたい、という願いをこめて『ブックぶっくろ』を開発いたしました。
特に苦労した点は商品イメージです。お年寄りから若年層まで幅広いターゲットに対して支持されるイラスト製作に多くの時間を費やしました。またサイズ違い なども考えましたが、まずは書店店頭にて『ブックぶっくろ』の面白さを広めたく、サイズを絞り込みました。「本を贈りたい」という気持ちを生み出し、本を 購入する機会を増やすことで書店の面白さが再認識されることに寄与できると考えています。
