Description
Each item is manufactured by craftsmen in Tsubame City, Niigata Prefecture, which is famous for its metalworking industry. Copper has a higher thermal conductivity than other metals, and the moment you pour a cold drink into it, the temperature of the body changes to the same coolness. When used for pouring beer, it has been specially polished to produce a fine, creamy, ideal foam. The handle engraved on the bottom is called "Uchide no kozuchi," which is one of the treasures that have appeared in many fairy tales in Japan since ancient times. It is also famous for being held by Daikokuten, one of the Seven Gods of Good Fortune, and is said to bring forth various things and wishes when struck, making it a very auspicious object. The size is designed for ease of use, making it a standard cup for any occasion to add color to the dining table. The set of two with coasters in a luxurious paulownia wood box is an excellent gift for a wedding gift, a gift for a friend or boss, or as a congratulatory gift. *Copper Copper is said to have a thermal conductivity about 5 times greater than iron and 23 times greater than stainless steel, and generates copper ions in contact with water, which has antibacterial and sterilizing effects, and is said to prevent water from getting wet* and odor from nets and vases used around water, and to prolong the life of flower arrangements. In addition, not only beverages such as tumblers and cups, but also pots and pans are heated evenly over the entire surface, and the copper ion action makes jams and stews more colorful and tasty. *Sanada cord A flat, narrow, bag-shaped cord woven with thick cotton threads in warp and weft, which has been valued for its durability and resistance to stretching, and is a valuable traditional craft. Since ancient times, it has been used as a cord to fasten important items such as sword cord, armor decoration, obi clasps for kimono, and strings for paulownia boxes for tea ceremony utensils. *Paulownia Box Paulownia boxes are made by craftsmen who restore items from the collections of museums and art galleries. It has long been revered as a tree of good luck and happiness. It is said to have a low combustibility, with an ignition point of over 400°C. There are stories of clothing and other important items in paulownia chests surviving fire and flood damage. In addition, because of its resistance to insects and corrosion, paulownia wood has been used for many years as a box for storing antiques and works of art. In addition, because of its low elongation and shrinkage rates and minimal deviation, it is less susceptible to the temperature and humidity of the airtight outside environment, making it suitable for long-term storage and preservation of important items even in Japan's four seasons. |
