Kukusa is a mug made of alder, a hard and solid wood, by the Swedish handicraft manufacturer [Scandinavisk Hemsloid], which was founded in Sweden in 1995. Kukusa is a handmade mug that has been handed down from generation to generation among the Sámi people who lived in Lapland in northern Finland.
For drinking milk, soup, coffee, wine, etc.

Kukusa is carefully made with the wish for the happiness of the user, and there is a legend that the recipient of the mug will be happy. In Scandinavia, it is a tradition to give it as a gift for births and weddings.
It is also recommended for outdoor use and interior decoration.

Because it is natural wood and dries easily, if it feels rough or hard, wipe it down 1-2 times a year with a small amount of linseed oil or vegetable oil on a cloth.
After applying the oil, do not use it for at least one day and let it dry thoroughly.

Some trading conditions may be applicable only in Japan.

Due to the handmade nature of this product, there will be individual differences in shape*size*grain.
Since oil is allowed to penetrate into the wood during the manufacturing process, oil may seep out at first. Please note that there is a possibility of staining if paper or cloth comes in contact with it.

Please do not use a dishwasher as it may damage the texture of the wood.
Leaving it wet may cause mold or cracks. Please dry it thoroughly after washing.
