| Miffy tableware has been sold since 1971. The artistic orange color of this series [Miffy and the Museum of Fine Arts] brings out Miffy's artistic side! It will help make mealtime more enjoyable! [miffy miffy was created in 1955 by Dutch designer "Dick Bruna". Dick was on vacation when he saw his son playing with a stuffed rabbit. He remembered having a real rabbit as a child. Suddenly he drew a rabbit on a piece of paper. It was Miffy. Many years later, Miffy is still the same rabbit as a child. Most of the characters in the show are looking straight at you. ディックは休暇中、自分の息子がぬいぐるみのウサギと遊んでいる姿を見て
子供の頃に本物のウサギを飼っていたことを思い出し、
突然紙の上に一匹のウサギを描きました。
それがミッフィーだったのです。
長い年月が経った今でもミッフィーは変わらず子供のウサギのままです。
登場するキャラクターのほとんどが真っ直ぐこちらを向いています。
「キャラクター達はいつもあなたのことを見ているよ」という、
ディックからのメッセージが込められています。
