Chen Peiyi
Born in 1984 in Taichung, Taiwan.

Discovered by painter Ikenaga Kangsheng, she held the exhibition "Kangsheng Ikenaga * Chen Pei Yi" in Japan.

東洋の伝統的な技法を駆使し描かれた猫は毛並みの触り心地の違いまでをも表現し、岩絵具を盛って描かれたテキスタイルの柄は独特のオリエンタルな世界観を生み出す。
猫と暮らし、制作を続ける彼女の前でしか見せない猫の所作や表情は圧倒的技量とともに、そこに裏打ちされた猫との信頼関係をも写し出している。
チン・ペイイにとって初画集となる本画集は、新作を含む作品54点、制作風景写真と作家自身によるテキストも掲載される。
チン・ぺイイ（陳珮怡）
1984年台湾台中生まれ。
東海大学大学院美術研究専攻修了。
画家の池永康晟氏に見いだされ、日本で「池永康晟･陳珮怡二人展」を開催。
ART FORMOSA、ART TAIPEIなどへの出品など、台湾を中心に活躍中。
