This technique has been applied to the Yumegala axis by Echizen lacquer painters Norio Misaki and Ryuji Umeda. After black or vermilion lacquer is applied, silver foil is applied, and then vermilion combined lacquer is applied over the silver foil to create a translucent amber color. ◆越前白壇塗り・金箔散らし◆
約1500年の歴史をg誇る越前漆器。第26代継体天皇が現在の福井県鯖江市片山町で漆器すくりを行うよう奨励したことが、越前漆器の始まりと伝えられています。
その技術を越前漆塗師である三崎憲雄氏と梅田隆次氏の手により夢銀河の軸に施しました。
黒や朱の漆を塗ったあと、本銀箔を貼り、その上から朱合漆を塗り重ねる白壇塗りでは透き通るような琥珀色と、控えめながら徐々に浮かび上がる銀の奥ゆかしさをお楽しみ頂けます。
