Nambu ironware + enamel = [i-ru]
Nambu ironware is a specialty of Morioka City and Oshu City in Iwate Prefecture. Even today, Nambu ironware is handmade one by one, inheriting the traditional techniques of the past and using cutting-edge technology.

iru is a cast iron pot made of Nambu ironware with a glassy enamel finish. Nambu ironware boasts excellent heat conductivity and heat storage properties that keep the flavor of food from being lost. The glassy enamel finish makes it hygienic and easy to clean. The modern and beautiful design allows the pot to be served directly on the table, which is another attraction of i-ru.

Enameling iron castings requires a very high level of technology.
However, i-ru is the first company in Japan to achieve coloring on cast iron pots and pans through collaboration of the world's most advanced technologies.
