Description
| This fountain pen paper was developed by Takeshi Uchihiro of Matsushita Corporation (now Kyoto Paper Trading Co., Ltd.), a paper wholesaler in Kyoto, Japan. [We aimed for "no smudging," "good absorption," "usability on both sides, front and back," "writing comfort," and "texture," and through a trial-and-error test with Oji Futex, EASTLY was created. Yamamoto Shigyo's fountain pen ink tests showed that the ink did not bleed or bleed through with Sailor or Platinum blue*black inks, nor did it bleed off the back. In the case of low viscosity inks, there was some blotting and back-out. We recommend using a fountain pen with a medium (M) nib or smaller.
