[Cozy] is a Mino ware made in a part of the Tohno district (Toki*Tajimi*Kani*Mizunami*Kasahara) in Gifu Prefecture (Mino Province). Mino ware is said to have originated in the Nara period (710-794), and has long supported the Japanese dining table. Today, it accounts for more than half of all ceramics produced in Japan and is one of the country's proudest pottery products. Mugs are indispensable at the dining table every morning, when taking a break from housework, during TV time after dinner, and as a companion for remote work.
