Description
Wako-mon (Japanese small pattern) Since the Edo period, the Japanese komon has been used as a pattern for kimonos, tenugui hand towels, and other Japanese products. This is an elegant series of glassware that reflects the small pattern used in kimono, tenugui hand towels, and other Japanese products since the Edo period in a single color of gold. Each pattern has its own auspicious meaning. The repeating pattern represents eternal peace. *Leaves of hemp The hemp leaf means growth and health because it grows quickly. *Suehiro The fan is an auspicious shape that spreads out to the end. Pray for future development. *Shidare-zakura (weeping cherry) Cherry blossoms are considered a symbol of prosperity because they bloom all at once. *Shippo Cloisonne, consisting of overlapping circles, is an auspicious symbol of happiness. *Yagasuri This is an auspicious pattern used for wedding gifts, as the arrow that is shot does not return. *Morning glory As it is called "Kengyuhana," it is believed to bring about the fulfillment of love in combination with the legend of the seventh lunar month. *Yukiwa Snow is called the spirit of the five grains and is associated with a wish for good fortune. *Auspicious connection Four auspicious patterns (seiko-ha, tortoiseshell, variegated hemp leaf, and gauze pattern) are joined together to form a lucky charm. |
