By replacing the guides, both types of slash quilts can be made. (For seam spacing of 6 mm or more for each.) Ratchet mechanism to securely hold the blade in place. Ratchet mechanism that prevents the blade from rotating when pressing. Since the blade does not rotate, the fabric does not wedge between the guide and the blade, allowing you to cut cleanly through layers of fabric. The 16-part pitch feed mechanism maintains sharpness. When the blade becomes hard to cut, it rotates by one pitch with a click to maintain sharpness. Designed to make it easy to know when to replace the blade. |
