Description
| It is an old type of circular knitting machine introduced from Europe. It is difficult to secure production backgrounds due to the small number of existing weaving machines, and nowadays there are only a few remaining in Wakayama, a rare machine in the world. The characteristic of this machine is that it does not apply extra tension to the yarn and knits it slowly and carefully, resulting in a soft and fluffy fabric with the natural texture of the yarn itself. On the other hand, the bursting strength of the fabric is more than twice as strong as that of fabrics knitted on today's knitting machines, and it can be used for many years to come. It is said that only 12 T-shirts can be knitted per day on a hang knitting machine. Using a vintage sewing machine made by Union Special in the 1960s, flat seaming (4-needle flat stitch) is used from the sides to the sleeves, with flat seams. The sewing speed is slower than other sewing machines and the production efficiency is lower than other sewing machines because the sewing is more complicated than normal sewing machines, but please enjoy the expression that only this sewing machine can provide. In order to faithfully reproduce the vintage world view, the sleeve ends and hem ends of the side seams are finished with karakan, leaving the sewing threads as they are. Around the shoulders are saddle shoulders, which are often used for knitwear and cut-and-sewn garments to create a clean silhouette. The hem is long at the back and rounded at the hem. It is simple and can be said to be a T-shirt that can be worn in a street style by utilizing the difference in length. 特徴としては、糸に余分なテンションを掛けず、ゆっくりと丁寧に編み立てる事で糸そのものの自然な風合い、柔らかでふっくらとした生地となります。
その一方で現在の編み機で編まれた生地よりも破裂強度は倍以上も強く、長年愛用して頂くことが出来ます。
吊り編み機でTシャツの生地を編んだ場合は、一日に僅か12枚分しか編むことが出来ないと言われております。
1960年代のUnion Special社製のヴィンテージミシンを使用し、脇から袖にかけては、縫い目が平坦なフラットシーマ（4本針扁平縫い）を採用しております。
通常のミシンよりも複雑で縫い合わせる為、他のミシンよりも縫製速度は遅く生産効率は落ちますが、このミシンでしか味わえない表現をお楽しみください。
ヴィンテージの世界観を忠実に、当時の生産背景まで意識したディテールにする為に、脇の縫製の袖先と裾先には、縫い糸をそのまま残す空環（カラカン）仕上げとなっております。
肩周りは、ニットやカットソーで、シルエットを綺麗に見せる時に良く使われるサドルショルダーになっております。
裾は後ろ身頃が長く、裾がラウンドしているヘムラウンド仕様です。
シンプルでどちらかと言えば、着丈の段差を利用してストリートスタイルで着て頂けるロンTと言えましょうか。
