(2) Part the fur and carefully brush along the grain of the coat, starting at the roots and avoiding direct contact with the skin. Gently untangle mats little by little. *Applying too much force or brushing the same spot repeatedly may cause the pin tips to scratch the skin. [Grooming Tips] We recommend gently brushing in the direction of the fur, starting with areas your dog doesn’t mind and working your way through. (Head*neck → back → abdomen → hips*tail → face*legs)* Areas such as behind the ears, the base of the hind legs, the armpits, and the abdomen are particularly prone to tangles.
