| Keep your dog cool. Heat stroke (heatstroke, sunstroke) is caused by staying indoors or in the car in hot and humid weather, or walking or going out in the heat. The sudden rise in body temperature can cause panting, drooling, and in severe cases, breathing difficulties, hematemesis, bloody stools, and other symptoms that can be fatal. Dogs, which hardly sweat, have difficulty regulating their body temperature when confined in a small room or car, or when their water intake is restricted, and they are prone to heat stroke. How the Doggie Air Conditioner Works The water-cooled belt is cooled by using ice water from PET bottles frozen in a home freezer as ice energy (ice battery) and circulating the cooled water through a pump.
