Luxurious cushion covers to enjoy the [skill] of different craftsmen

Dyed by traditional craftsmen of Kyoto Kanoko-shibori [tie-dyeing] craftsmanship [yarn-dyed persimmon tannin dyeing].

[Tie-dye -TIE-DYE-]
Tie-dyeing is a technique that has been used since ancient times to add patterns to cloth.
In the Nara period (710-794), many techniques were developed to dye patterns on clothes.
When cloth is dyed using techniques such as tying with thread, tightening with stitching, and sandwiching with a board, blotches and blurring occur during the dyeing process. The charm of tie-dyeing is that even if the same lot of cloth is dyed, each piece will be dyed differently depending on the dyeing time and overlap.

[Kakishibu-dyeing]
The fabric is dyed from the threads using persimmon tannin, indigo, and other dyes. Kakishibu dyeing and Indigo dyeing, in which dyeing is done from the threads, is a time-consuming process in which each thread is dipped into the dye several times.
The finished product takes longer, but the warmth and unique texture is the charm of this time-consuming process.
A new texture is created by interweaving persimmon tannin and indigo yarns.
The persimmon tannin changes to a deeper color as the years go by, while the Indigo becomes more and more appealing the more it is used. You can enjoy the change in color over time woven by both.

Sewing is done in Kyoto.

The zipper is the same color as the main body.

*Because tie-dyeing is done by hand, the color and pattern will vary from piece to piece. We are very sorry, but we cannot specify the pattern or color.
*We take pictures to show the texture and color of the products, but they may differ from the actual products due to the lighting, natural light, and computer environment of the store. We appreciate your understanding.
*The persimmon tannin fabric used for this product is naturally dyed, so the color may fade. Due to the nature of the dye, when wet or strongly rubbed with water or sweat, the color may migrate to other items, so please avoid leaving the item wet.
