Description
| [Ethical (regional)] Rags made of rushes grown in Okinawa. Okinawan beagu is made from a variety of rush grass that has grown thick and strong as a result of years of adaptation to the harsh environment of Okinawa. It is a very valuable product that can only be produced in Okinawa and is not available in stores on the mainland because the area planted is very small. Compared to mainland rushes, it is about 2 to 3 times thicker and about twice as heavy, making it stronger and longer lasting. Therefore, the moisture absorbing and discharging effect, which is a function unique to rush grass, is also about twice as high, and it absorbs the dampness of the summer, and also eliminates the sticky feeling of sweat when you lie down on it. The surface gradually turns a beautiful candy color after many years of use, giving it a luster as if it had been waxed. The backing is lined with 3mm non-woven fabric to prevent it from damaging the flooring. This is a rare and valuable product that shines with the skill of a master craftsman. |
