Description
| Printed pattern two-width furoshiki (in a decorative box) This furoshiki is a collection of auspicious patterns in a two-width cloth size to wrap important gifts. It is made of firm shantung material. It is dyed with a textile printing technique that resembles mica (kira) printing, with jet-black printing on black, pearlescent printing on green and coral, and silver printing on sky-blue. Cloisonne with a celebratory pattern A variant of cloisonne. The cloisonne pattern means "happiness" and "prosperity of offspring" because the circles are connected. *Kyoto Print Museum Kyoto Print Museum [publisher Tokuriki] is located in Jingoin, Kyoto. It was founded by Tokuriki Tomikichiro, a member of the Tokuriki family, who was in charge of the Nishi Honganji temple.
