-What is WANOWA?
In Japan, each region has its own unique agricultural products, people who grow them, and traditions.
However, the aging of farmers* and the lack of successors has left many regions with little prospect for the future.
What can we do to preserve them*?

We thought that if we combined [agricultural products] and [aroma] manufacturing, we could transmit our products throughout Japan and around the world.
When many people use the products, the farmers' lives will be stabilized and they can make better products.
If many people have a chance to see the products, there will surely be people who are interested in the region.
And we can continue to enjoy the agricultural products and traditions of the region.
The people who use the products think of the people who make them, and the people who make them think of the people who use them.
WANOWA wants to be a brand that creates a "circle" of feelings.

-The Story of Kashimo Hinoki
Kashimo, Nakatsugawa City, Gifu Prefecture.
Surrounded by mountains on all sides, it is the home of sacred trees that have protected and nurtured the wood for the Ise Jingu Shrine since ancient times.
In the Edo period (1603-1867), it was the domain of the Owari clan, and in the Meiji period (1868-1912), it became a royal forest for the imperial family.
However, with the spread of inexpensive lumber from overseas and the 2 x 4 construction method, the current situation is that the amount sold is sometimes less than the cost of cutting down a single tree.
Even so, the people of Kashimo continue to go into the mountains to protect them and prevent mountain disasters.

WANOWA's activities would not be complete without the guidance* and cooperation of the people of the Kashimo Forest Union.
They are engaged in a campaign to collect hinoki leaves and branches that have fallen in the mountains.
The WANOWA Kashimo Hinoki was born by distilling and extracting the essential oil from them.

-Kashimo Hinoki Bath Wood Ball
The fragrant Kashimo hinoki is grown in Kashimo, Nakatsugawa City, Gifu Prefecture, the home of sacred trees.
This product contains four balls hollowed out of Kashimo hinoki cypress.
Float them in the bathtub to enjoy the fragrance of hinoki, roll them between your palms to press pressure points, or use them in shoe boxes or closets where odor is a concern.
2% of the proceeds from your purchase will be used to support the sustainable production of the precious Kashimo hinoki cypress.
