Description
| KYOTO BLUE Flower-dyed linen handkerchief, botanical dye [Kikyo] Botanical Dye Botanical dye" is the origin of the Japanese craftsmanship, which focuses on dyeing. Natural dyes have been loved and used by people for 5,000 years. Botanical dye is a new technique that combines a small amount of chemical dyes and increases colorfastness without using mordants in order to create fabrics with the energy, message, and power of color that plants originally possess. Kikyo (Chinese bellflower) Kikyo is one of the seven autumnal flowers (hagi * ogana * nadeko * meirobana * kudzu * wisteria * wisteria hakama * bellflower). The root is a herbal medicine for the throat. The pentagonal shape of the flower is believed to ward off evil spirits and bring good luck, and the Kikyo pattern has been used as a family crest for many years. |
