広島県の森林面積は全体の72%。
広葉樹林やマツ林などの天然林がおよそ7割、住宅などに使用するスギ、ヒノキの人工林が3割となっています。
広島県内の人工林は、戦後に植林されたものが多く、これから本格的に木材の生産が始まります。
