It is made by hand with an electric saw, utilizing the openwork carving technique of Byobu and Ranma.

*The tiger and its parents are 120mm high and 130mm wide, and are named after the Chinese zodiac sign for the new year (2022), the Year of the Tiger.
The parent tiger is over 120mm high and 130mm wide, and the two cub tigers are lined up in a friendly manner, in contrast to the wriggling and barking parent tiger.
The parent body is inlaid with the two cub tigers, which are lined up in a friendly manner.
*The grain of the paulownia wood is used in the kumiki-zaiku, matching the tiger pattern.
*Tiger motifs have always been popular regardless of the Chinese zodiac.
We wish for a different year from 2021, which was highlighted by the recession.
