Description
| [The ECWCS parka is a thermal parka that was officially adopted in the late 1980s. It is generally called "Gore-Tex Parka" because it was made of Gore-Tex, which was a new material at that time. ECWCS stands for "Extended Cold Weather Clothing System. It is a set of a parka and a synthetic fiber inner wear/liner, and has become an epoch-making clothing system that can be used in various climates by combining them with each other, instead of pursuing only cold-weather protection like the M-65 parka until then.
