Description
| [Armor] is protective gear worn by warlords, mainly during the Warring States period. It was mainly made of metal to protect oneself from sword and bow and arrow attacks. Our goal was to create a new type of armor that would protect against the various attacks of the warring states period. Our goal was to realize an unprecedented expression of unique texture, based on the motif of armor that protects against various attacks, and to create a new type of armor that is both durable and durable. We created this work with the hope that it would protect us from all kinds of calamities in the world. The delicate selection of clay, subtle coloring, and firing process, which is the most difficult part of the process, are all performed with the aim of achieving a stable firing. The result is an austere, flamboyant, and metallic piece with the texture of armor from the Warring States period. The result is a work of art that is different from existing Arita-yaki porcelain. Nobunaga has an image of being a flamboyant person who liked things imported from the southern barbarians, but in terms of armor, this is different, as he wore armor of orthodox forms and mainly used black-based colors. This is why we named the black color Nobunaga. |

『甲冑』とは主に戦国時代を中心に武将が纏った防具です。
刀剣や弓矢の攻撃から身を守るために、それぞれの戦国武将が作らせた主に金属製の防具です。
私たちが目指したのは現代のこの混沌とした時代を群雄割拠の戦国時代になぞらえて、
様々な攻撃から身を守る甲冑をモチーフにしたこれまでにない独特の質感の表現を実現し、
世の中のあらゆる災難から身を守ることができるようにとの願いを込めて作品作りに当たりました。
繊細な土の選定、微妙な色付け、そして最も難易度の高い、安定した焼き上がりを目指す
焼成工程を経て、まるで戦国時代の甲冑のような渋く、華があり、金属の質感を持った
既存の有田焼とは一味違う作品に仕上げることができました。
信長は南蛮渡来のものが好きな派手好みというイメージだが、甲冑で言うとそのことは異なり正統的形の甲冑を身に付けていて、色も黒ベースのものを主に使っていたようです。この事から黒を信長と名付けました。
