Description
Kengo Kuma x designshop - [Dreamlike] lighting designed for Otter Store - Kengo Kuma Kengo Kuma is a globally active architect who was involved in the design of the New National Stadium. Kengo Kuma designed the headquarters and showroom [Otter Store, Headquarters] for Asahi Shuzo, the brewer of the highly acclaimed Japanese sake [Otter]. The pendant lighting designed for this project is the "Sake Hanging Light". The Sake Hanging Light was designed to create a white, pale atmosphere, as if drifting in a dream. As the name suggests, the design was inspired by the process of "Fukuro-hanging," which was once used to brew sake. The organic and rich curves of the washi shades are the result of the three-dimensional molding technique of washi by the craftsmen of Aoya Washi in Tottori Prefecture. The unique form, which evokes the dazzling and glossy appearance of plants and living creatures, is beautiful, and it is just like dreaming. The unique texture, which is different from that of ordinary chochin-shaped washi lighting, further enhances the charm of the sake hanging light. ___________________________________________ [ Japanese paper lighting light pendant ceiling ceiling lamp stand top stylish LED lighting pendant light pendant lamp pendant lamp pendant top pendant lighting Japanese paper lighting dining Scandinavian light fixture outlet Kengo Kuma kengo kuma architect architect architecture jochin lantern lantern lighting fixture fixture Japanese style Japanese washi Japanese paper japanese paper ] |
