Description
Sb SKATEBOARD JOURNAL #38 2022 WINDY Sb #38 is an issue of lost colors. French photographer Kevin revives 19th century printing methods to photogravure unique skate photography. New York photographer Jonathan has turned Love Park, one of the most iconic skate spots of the now-defunct 20th century, into a black-and-white photogravure on the page. In this issue, skate photographers document such lost colors and places on the pages. A reversal from the previous issue, which captured the present state of skateboarding. The book is like a memory device through skateboarding. This issue is a good example of one piece of why skateboarding is said to be a form of art. |
