He has had solo exhibitions at the Centre Georges Pompidou, Paris (1977), Tate Gallery, London (1991), Museum of Modern Art, New York (2002), Tate Modern, London (2011), and the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York (2020). He has steadfastly maintained his position as one of the most important painters of our time. |
