It was devastated by the tsunami that followed the Great East Japan Earthquake. Even so, the land was raised, houses were built, and the area is being rebuilt. The area has been reconstructed. Yuriage soon after the earthquake, Yuriage of memories, and Yuriage Yuriage, which is on the road to recovery. [On the 40th day after the 2011 disaster, I entered the town of Yuriage, which had been completely transformed. It was like watching a nightmare. After that, I visited Yuriage several times during the year. I visited Yuriage several times that year, and I will visit Yuriage at least once every year until 2019. I have witnessed and photographed the reconstruction of the town. He has often visited Yuriage, his father's birthplace, since childhood. He received the Incentive Award in the Documentary Division of the 4th Photography Publication Award for this film. |
