[Shigaraki-ness" to many people. And to be a catalyst for that.

The starting point is a reverence for Anagama.
And a longing for Shigaraki* natural glaze... I want to touch the origin, the original spring, even if only a little.
Harmony of artifice and nature.
I hope this bowl will be the first step of Shigaraki.

This vessel is produced with an emphasis on the powerful expression that conveys the breath of nature, and the texture of the piece as it is.
The deep and soft colors of the vitrified glaze, the white pebbles on the clay surface, the marks of shells, the carved out base, and the flow of the glaze created by intentionally tilting the pot during firing....
The clay components dissolved by high-temperature firing are mixed with ash and glazed to fill the cracked and rough clay surface, making the vessel more solid.
Rather than people being the subject, people and nature grow close to each other.
[No two pieces are alike.]
We hope you will feel such a sense of vessel making.

[Explanation of Image 1]

[water leakage].

Unlike porcelain or glassware, Hechimonon vessels are made of coarse clay.

Therefore, if a liquid is kept in the vessel for a long period of time, it may seep out.

Please avoid placing liquids in the bowl for a long period of time, as this may cause damage to the bowl.

Please note that due to the nature of ceramics, ring stains may form at the base of the bowl,

We would appreciate it if you could use a rug.

*The color of the product may differ slightly from the actual product depending on your monitor.
