[Material] Polycarbonate *Made in Japan for peace of mind* *Manufactured and processed by L&A* *Each piece is hand-assembled in Japan using a special adhesive. After the adhesive has fully cured, every item is inspected by hand, and only flawless products are shipped. *Because the pieces are bonded by hand, not all dishes will be perfectly oriented facing forward due to the manufacturing process. *There may be some plating residue or other marks on the surface of the dish. Additionally, to enhance the durability of the bonded area on the back and prevent it from coming loose, we use a generous amount of adhesive; as shown in the image, the adhesive is intentionally allowed to protrude slightly. *By nature, polycarbonate (and other resins) and metal are highly incompatible, requiring special adhesives and techniques for a secure bond. Bond strength diminishes over time, and factors such as heavy loads, high temperatures, and high humidity can significantly reduce it. Depending on the circumstances, the expected durability is approximately 6 months to 1 year. [Plating] Our original, premium-grade special plating K16GP or Genuine Rhodium Coating * K16GP & Original Rhodium * ━ 16K Gold Plating ━ * The use of gold makes it less prone to discoloration than conventional gold plating. * Coating with a metal alloy containing a higher gold content enhances the brilliance and makes it last longer (compared to standard plating). ━ Genuine Rhodium Plating ━ * By using (white) gold and coating it with rhodium, it is less prone to discoloration than conventional rhodium-colored finishes. * Coating with a metal alloy containing a higher percentage of rhodium further enhances the brilliance and ensures it lasts longer. (Compared to standard) * However, please note that since these are plated products, changes due to sulfidation, weathering, or deterioration may still occur. * In our tests, neither of the two colors listed above showed any discoloration or fading under normal use. This is our premium original plating that we confidently recommend. |
