| The “Soft Gauze Tenugui and Handkerchiefs [Japanese Style]” won the 2011 Good Design Award. The product was evaluated from four perspectives: physical, industrial, lifestyle, and social* and global environmental. A Commitment to Just the Right Thickness Towels that are too thick are difficult to wring out and take longer to dry. To achieve the perfect balance of thinness, durability, and softness, Japanese-style tenugui and handkerchiefs are tightly woven using fine-count yarn (No. 40 single yarn) not only for the pile but also for the base weave. The more you use them—and the more you wash them—the more their texture becomes a natural part of your skin. Furthermore, meticulously crafted in Japanese factories, these products convey Japanese beauty, the Japanese spirit, and Japanese craftsmanship by expressing traditional Japanese scenes and the four seasons. KIMONO STYLE Series: ANTIQUE MODERN This series reinterprets kimono patterns—which span a wide range of styles, from classical to modern—with a Japanese-style twist. It offers a fashionable vibe without compromising the classic essence of the kimono, making it a wonderful series for people of all ages. *Komon Chrysanthemum, Hana Temari, Hana Urara, Iro Asobi *The Hana Temari pattern has a slightly more greenish hue than shown in the image. Due to high demand, these items are currently being accepted for pre-order* and shipped on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note that even if stock is shown as available, items may be out of stock due to sell-outs. *Delivery is currently estimated to take about 2–3 weeks, but may take longer depending on circumstances.
