| Unexpected Formative Beauty Born from Receipts This is a unique collection of photographs of the monster of desire (receipts) that is consumption, based on the theme of shapes that have no right answers. The approach of sublimating the familiar, crumpled up receipt into an accidental beauty by using techniques such as solarization shakes our senses of the familiar. The artist's approach is to sublimate the beauty of the familiar through the use of solarization and other techniques, and to shake our senses with regard to the familiar. Birds? A fish? Or a dragon? Please imagine freely. This is a challenging book that vividly reexamines the boundaries between everyday life and art. [Comment from the editor] What kind of monster does each receipt look like? About the Author Fujita Katsumi Born and raised in Kyoto. Graduated from Waseda University, School of Commerce. After graduating from university, worked in creative positions at advertising agencies. Entered Kyoto University of Art and Design, Faculty of Art and Design, Photography Course in 2022. (Graduated in 2025). This series of work is a development of his assigned work at the school. Born and raised in Kyoto. Graduated from Waseda University, School of Commerce.
After graduating from university, worked in creative positions at advertising agencies.
