| A set of greeting cards enclosed in an envelope of Izumo Mingei paper and a frame of Echizen Washi paper with a kogire, an old kimono untied in a kosho pattern. The card and envelope with a Japanese paper frame featuring a lucky pattern, which is said to bring good luck, are made of carefully selected materials and processing. The delicate and precise embossing of the lucky pattern on the card itself was achieved by Echizen Washi, which has a long history of 1,500 years and has been producing strong and firm Japanese paper and paper used for bills, certificates, and other items. The card with ears gives the warmth of human hands. The accompanying envelope is made of Izumo Mingei paper, which is handmade in the tradition of the late *Living National Treasure Eishiro Abe. The paper is surprisingly soft to the touch and comes in four colors: scarlet, yellow, yellowish yellow, moegi, and forget-me-not.
