Description
| A stainless steel colander with handles and a slightly coarser mesh than a standard colander. This mesh, known as “Spark Mesh,” is also used in commercial deep fryers; it drains water* and oil exceptionally well and is incredibly easy to clean. When used with your frying pan (24–26 cm in diameter), you can simply lift the colander out of the water to drain vegetables or noodles, saving you the trouble of lifting a heavy pot to drain them. It’s also perfect for draining oil, so you can fry food with the colander still set in the frying pan and then quickly lift it out to drain the oil. It’s also great for deep-frying, draining excess oil from ingredients, blanching fish, draining fried foods, and as a serving basket. When boiling noodles, the coarse mesh allows the noodles to pop out, but stirring them with chopsticks or similar utensils easily brings them back in without them getting stuck, ensuring thorough draining and effortless cleanup. It’s made of durable, corrosion-resistant stainless steel that resists rust. The large mesh makes it easy to wash, drains water well, and dries quickly, so you can use it hygienically for a long time. |
