Description
| This is an authentic U.S. military CWU-28/P flight coverall from the 1970s. It is a summer pilot coverall made of flame-retardant nylon, featuring a lightweight and soft texture. The front features a brass double zipper closure. The waist and sleeves can be adjusted with Velcro straps. The hem width can be adjusted using a zipper. In addition to the two chest pockets and one on the left sleeve, pockets are strategically placed on the thighs and below the knees for easy access while seated. The zippered pockets on both sides of the waist are through-pockets. It is said that the primary reason for the orange color is to enhance visibility during emergency egress or accidents, enabling rapid search and rescue* of survivors. |
