What is an “open hem”?*

Polyester products may bleed due to the characteristics of the dyes used, depending on the conditions at the time of printing or heat processing, as well as storage environment* conditions. We recommend thermal processing at 120°C or lower, but since bleeding may occur even at 120°C or lower, please be careful to control the temperature. To further reduce the occurrence of bleed, the use of low bleed ink is recommended. [Handling precautions for inkjet printing]. This product is not compatible with inkjet printing due to poor fixation of the pretreatment agent. [Precautions for water-repellent treated products]. Products with a water-repellent finish do not adhere well to the printing table due to the characteristics of the fabric. Therefore, it is recommended to use one-color printing when printing. In addition, it is recommended to use materials dedicated for water repellent processing after confirming the affinity with this product in advance. If materials not specially designed for water repellent processing are used, the printed surface may peel off. Even if there is no problem immediately after processing, the symptoms are likely to appear over time. |
