Description
| These are gift envelopes featuring a black cat. This playful design comes in a set of three colors: red, blue, and orange. This is part of the “Jūnyashi” series—a zodiac series featuring only cats—originally proposed by Maruta Marie. The cat of the zodiac for 2026 is a black cat. These envelopes are perfect for wrapping New Year’s gifts and celebratory money as a symbol of good luck, and they’re also ideal for everyday use, such as small tokens of appreciation or tips. Another delightful detail that cat lovers will adore is that the envelope features the word “cat” (neko) instead of the traditional “noshi” (gift wrapping). For printing, we’ve adopted “stencil printing,” which offers a charming texture reminiscent of screen printing and printmaking. Slight misalignments, color variations, and faint marks add character to each piece, resulting in a retro and warm atmosphere. |
