[About Kiyomizu-yaki] Kyo-yaki has formed a unique and elegant cultural climate over the millennia of the capital's history. Kyo-yaki* Kiyomizu-yaki, which has been nurtured in this environment, is a gorgeous, delicate, and elegant ceramic ware. Kiyomizu-yaki is a representative traditional craft of Japan that has reached the height of refinement and sophistication. While upholding the spirit of tradition established by our predecessors, such as Ninsei*Kenzan, we have been creating a new type of pottery, which is a product of the spirit of the past.
