ここに収録されているのは昭和40年代後半の《ちびっこ広告》たちです。
「あしたのジョー」「巨人の星」「もーれつア太郎」「ハレンチ学園」 「タイガーマスク」「仮面ライダー」「マジンガーZ」など人気作の連載や ヤングアイドルの表紙起用で時代を席巻した当時の児童向け雑誌は 当時の読者に楽しみや成長を与えた一方その媒体である雑誌そのものは 大量消費とともに破棄されてきました。
人気作品は単行本やTVアニメとなり永遠の命を手に入れましたが 同時にその誌面を飾っていたカラフルな広告は絶滅状態でした。
そこで現存する古書を元にデジタルの力を借りて当時の色合いを完全再現し 21世紀に残すことを目的としたのが本シリーズです。
