| Each blade is carefully cut by blade craftsmen in Seki City, Gifu Prefecture, the town of cutlery, so that envelopes and other items can be cut comfortably. The design of the sword is based on "Kiku Ichimonji," the favorite sword of Soji Okita, the first leader of the Shinsengumi and an excellent swordsman, and the design of the tsuba and blade crest are particular. The beauty of the chrysanthemum-shaped tsubaku is reproduced in this paper knife, making it a knife you will want to own. The knife comes with a side stand with the family crest "Maru ni Mokureri". When displayed on the stand, the paper knife can be quickly taken out and used without having to look for it when you want to use it. Since the knife is in its sheath, the blade will not be exposed and can be stored safely. |
