Description
*About delivery date* Due to the large number of orders we are currently receiving, we have closed the shipping before the end of this year. *Picture shows a comparison of large and small sizes! (Only the large size is the price of a single item.) How about a mold-free Kagamimochi for the New Year? It is the newest addition to the Mochiri-Series, a gorgeous gold leaf with hemp charcoal and orange! (The way the bubbles are filled cannot be manipulated, so there are large and small bubbles respectively) *Concept of the work about Kagamimochi YUGEN GLASS hopes that by creating Kagamimochi with the transparent material of [glass], which feels [light], people will enjoy the New Year in a bright and joyful way. For this purpose, we mold it as a solid piece of glass that contains light, which gives it a solid and stable appearance and a soft roundedness that signifies family happiness. The white color is expressed with watery air bubbles to keep it fresh and healthy forever. Each of these bubbles is generated from hemp charcoal. When the hemp charcoal meets the hot glass, it turns to ash, and when the glass is rolled over it again to encase the hemp charcoal, the bubbles become air bubbles and remain forever. The hemp charcoal used in this piece is a Himalayan species. The orange on top is decorated with gold leaf to wish for brightness and shine from generation to generation. This Kagamimochi will not get moldy (laugh), so we hope it will be used by our ancestors for many years to come. The red cloth is meant to keep bad things out of the house, so please use it together. *What is hemp charcoal glass? Hemp charcoal glass is a technique of sprinkling hemp charcoal powder on hot glass, then wrapping the glass around the powder to create air bubbles by encasing the hemp charcoal. (Each bubble in the glass is generated from the hemp charcoal.) And since light has both wave and particle properties, when light "passes through" the bubbles generated from the hemp charcoal, it has some "positive effect" on the properties of light and also has a positive effect on the food and drink in the glass (or the space outside in the case of a light). We believe that this is the case. We believe that the sake or wine bottle will be exposed to the sunlight. This is the opposite of the green or brown bottles used for sake and wine to prevent deterioration due to sunlight. This is my own personal idea, so I do not have any scientific proof. Please trust your own senses and make your own judgment. |

Glass is not heat resistant. *Please be careful where the glass is exposed to direct sunlight as there is a risk of astringent fire! *About storage. Glass is easily broken if scratched. When stacking them, place a piece of paper between them. If the glass is not washed for a long period of time, it may become difficult to remove stains or become cloudy. Please wash as needed. |
