Description
| Kutani-yaki, a traditional craft recognized by the Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry, celebrates 360 years since the opening of the Kutani kiln. Kutani-yaki was exhibited at the Paris World Exposition and became famous throughout the world as Japan*Kutani, and has been collected by famous museums around the world, including the British Museum and the Louvre. The base was handmade in the Kutani Wa Kiln, and Takao Yamada of the Kutani Suikogama Kiln applied the silver coloring. The box can be used for decoration or as a small container, and is sure to be useful. |
